I’ve got some awesome updates for you all!
Christmas was really wonderful. I went back to Portugal and spent time with my family and friends. I collaborated on a track with one of my favourite Portuguese bands, Hands on Approach. I was really excited because I’ve followed them since they hit the scene with their single Wonder Moon (which I actually covered in my Portuguese Medley), so it was awesome to have a chance to sing on their upcoming record! I performed on live TV on New Year’s Eve for a show called ‘Uma Canção Para Ti’. It’s a competition similar to the X Factor/Idol for younger kids, and I had the opportunity to perform live with one of the finalists, Mariana Imaginário. She is a talented singer and such a sweet, smart girl. It was a rewarding experience - I had never done anything like it, and it was fun to be behind-the-scenes for a production as large as that. I learned to watch out for large cranes and big orchestras :-P

I’ve just finished up recording the vocals for the 5-track EP that’ll be out at the end of February in conjunction with Kindheart Lionheart Media and Publishing! I can’t tell you how excited I am about this release, especially because it features some fan favourites from Youtube. The EP will consist of all original songs, and I’m very happy with the sound that’s come together, so I hope you like it as much as I do!

I performed on Portugal No Coração, which was a really fun show. There was a little abandoned dog there that the producer of the programme adopted. This clever puppy knew exactly when tea-time was, and he stalked the lady with the biscuits. It was adorable.
Thanks for all the album title suggestions! I've decided to call the EP “Radian”. It is a word normally linked to mathematics and physics, where a radian is a unit of measure. What is interesting though, is that, like pi (π), a radian is the intersection between nature and science. It is an exact unit that has an infinite mathematical expression. Basically, it makes an otherwise irrational concept, rational, and I find that music shares a similar property. To me, music makes irrational thoughts, immeasurable feelings, and complicated truths more tangible, easier to measure and less infinite. I find so much comfort in that belief, and it is one of the main reasons why I find inspiration in words and music.
I can’t express how excited I am to be in the United States in late February and early March for some fun "Radian" promotion and launch events! US fans can catch two east coast gigs (don’t worry west coast fans, we’re coming your way too soon!):
